Construction of the region's largest dairy and livestock complex has begun in the Kurgan region

“In the village of Raskatikha, Pritobolny District, they laid the foundation stone for a future large dairy farm. As part of the project, 60 new jobs will be created and up to one hundred, including support services. The farm is designed for about 3,000 animals with a productivity of up to 13.3 thousand tons of MILK per year. Now the project is undergoing examination and discussion of the financial model at the bank. We will support. We need new jobs. Moreover, the investor is very serious. Well, thank God!” said Vadim Shumkov.

As the HEAD of K(F)H Sergei Suslov said, his farm is already successfully operating in crop production and beef cattle breeding. Considering the interest of the region’s leadership in the development of agriculture and the current set of support measures, the farmer decided to undertake a large-scale investment project.

According to preliminary calculations, investments in the project, taking into account the support that is planned to be attracted from the federal and regional budgets, will amount to 1.5 billion rubles. it is planned to complete the entire range of work and reach the planned volumes of milk production - 13,300 tons per year - in 2027.

A land plot of 56.4 hectares is involved in the construction of the complex. Currently, the fertile soil layer is being removed and stored here. Work is underway to install wells to provide the complex with drinking water. A state examination of the design and estimate documentation for the construction of the farm is being carried out. Electricity and gas pipelines have already been supplied to the site, and a sanitary protection zone has been installed around it.

In the future, it is planned to purchase milking and stall equipment, drinking bowls, milk storage and cooling systems, manure removal and ventilation systems, and animal restraint systems.

“The project is large-scale. For the Kurgan region it is the largest in the field of dairy farming today. For a rural area, this is just a cool project. That's how it should be. In this situation, the regional government will also co-finance, together with the federation, those forms of support offered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rosselkhozbank. In addition, we are ready to provide financial leverage in certain forms of support if there is not enough money. The budget is growing, the economy is growing. We really like such projects. We will be ready to participate either in equipment, or subsidize the purchase of animals, or the purchase of equipment. We are ready for this,” the head of the region emphasized.
