Our immediate plans are to do everything to ensure that there is no shortage in the future. Governor Mikhail Kotyukov visited one of the largest poultry farms in the region.

The continuous chirping of thousands of chickens makes my ears ring. But the workshop operators have long been accustomed to this chorus of birds. Pale yellow babies are taken in handfuls, but very carefully and carefully - not a feather falls. And just as deftly, the girls immediately vaccinate the chickens one after another.

All our specialists are very qualified, because, in fact, the future of the chicken depends on them. The incubation process itself is very complex. it is important to control both temperature and humidity every day, every minute is very important. Every year we undergo advanced training.

Olga Gogol, chief livestock specialist at the poultry farm:

800 thousand chickens hatch here in the incubators in a month! There are plans to increase capacity by 1.5 times. And by 2025, poultry meat production will increase to 42 thousand tons per year.

Over the past 3 years, we have implemented a project to reconstruct 14 buildings. We have begun reconstruction of the 3rd site in the Mansky district. It involves commissioning another 24 poultry houses. In the next year and a half. The region has a shortage of poultry meat production, so we try to place all our products on the shelves of stores in the Krasnoyarsk region.

One of the largest enterprises in the region for the production of poultry meat was inspected by Mikhail Kotyukov.

- Today you have half of all regional poultry production, is this yours?

- Even more. But we are going to make sure that there are 90.

The HEAD of the region was also shown new poultry houses - now there are a million birds and a hatchery shop. In the near future, all foreign cabinets will be replaced with domestic ones.

This one costs 700 thousand rubles, the Dutch one costs 3.5-4 million. And we don’t even think about it. Take the domestic one, it’s more reliable. Up to 6 years of operation. These cabinets are 6 years old and we are still getting 90-92% of the brood.

Chicken production in the region is growing; compared with 2022, the figure increased by 12 percent. Entrepreneurs and authorities are helping - last year the volume of state support exceeded 236 million rubles. We discussed future plans with the producers. It is important to ensure that poultry meat is always on the shelves.

Production needs to be significantly increased many times over so that Krasnoyarsk residents are fully provided with their own poultry meat. There are such plans, and it’s great that these are not just plans on paper, but very specific intentions of investors in enterprises that are already operating today. There is also interest among retail chains in having Krasnoyarsk products on the shelves of Krasnoyarsk stores . These are fresh products, these are products that are delivered immediately to stores. Therefore, we will support such a program, the company’s plans to expand production volumes - of course, we will look for any measures of support so that these plans become a reality.
