According to Minister of Agriculture and Trade Leonid Shorokhov, the regional government is now considering the procedure for paying compensation. Most likely, the owner of the farm in the village of Malaya Minusa, where the primary epizootic focus arose, will not be able to claim it

Farmer Ivan Morozov kept 388 pigs. He supplied raw materials to the workshop of the individual entrepreneur Sergei Podlesnov in the Karatuz region and to the markets of Minusinsk. The sold products were withdrawn from circulation, the activity of the workshop was suspended.

The owner of the farm said that he noticed the first symptoms of ASF in animals at the end of February, the death began in March. On the territory of his farm, 107 buried carcasses were found and burned. Morozov tried to hide the outbreak, the consequence of which was the introduction of an emergency situation in the region.

The ASF virus was found in private farms in Minusinsk, the villages of Gorodok (Minusinsk district), Karatuzskoye (Karatuzsky district) and Marinino (Kuraginsky district), in the workshop of Sergei Podlesnov and at the Minusinsk bakery plant. At the moment, quarantine has been canceled at all facilities, but specialists continue to work in the observation zones.

Destroyed 3810 heads of pigs and almost 18 thousand tons of pig products. According to the company "InvestOtsenkaAudit", compensation from the reserve fund of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be paid at the rate of 220 rubles per kilogram of live weight, 239 rubles per kilogram of meat processing products. For Sergei Podlesnov, the amount of the payment will most likely be reduced by 50%, and Ivan Morozov will not receive a compensation payment.
