A resident of the Krasnodar Territory asked the question about increasing prices for chicken eggs and poultry MEAT to the HEAD of state, Vladimir Putin, during a direct line and press conference on December 14. The President noted that the cost of chicken eggs in RUSSIA has increased due to high demand amid rising household incomes, while the volume of production of the product has not increased. The President also expressed the opinion that in the near future food prices will stabilize due to imports.

"The production volume of poultry for slaughter since the beginning of the year amounted to 173 thousand tons, which is 3 thousand tons more than in the same period in 2022, eggs - 1.303 billion, which is 8 million more than in the same period last year." , - said Andrey Korobka.

Krasnodar region is one of the largest producers of livestock products in Russia. it ranks third in Russia in terms of MILK production volumes in farms of all categories and second place in the production of marketable milk; in the production of livestock, poultry and eggs it is among the top five. The region annually produces 1.5 million tons of milk, about 600 thousand tons of meat in live weight, and 1.5 billion eggs. The region has developed a concept for the development of livestock farming for two five-year periods - until 2025 and until 2030. It is planned to increase the production of meat in live weight by 840 thousand tons, and milk - to reach the level of more than 2 million tons.
