Recipients of grants for the development of family farms and rural cooperatives were named in Komi

The Ministry of Agriculture of Komi held a competitive selection of projects for grants for the development of a family farm and agricultural consumer cooperation, chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Consumer Market of the Republic of Komi Denis Sharonov, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation reported.

The ministry received six applications to participate in the competition. Three winners were determined by the decision of the competition commission, they will be provided with grants totaling more than 26 million rubles.

The funds are provided on the condition of co-financing. The state compensates the costs in the amount of 60%, the rest is provided by the farmer.

In five districts of the Lipetsk region, agricultural cooperatives will expand their production with the help of state support 

In the Knyazhpogost district, the agricultural consumer cooperative "Onezhie" will send a grant for the overhaul of a MILK processing shop. In the Izhma region, a hereditary family of fishermen will spend state support funds on the creation of a fish processing workshop, the purchase of a truck, a boat with an engine and production equipment. And an enterprising entrepreneur from the city of Vuktyl will purchase 80 heads of cattle, repair a cowshed and a dairy, and also buy agricultural machinery and equipment for processing dairy products.
