
The development of feed additives is carried out in cooperation with leading scientific institutes of Russia and has a high content of protein, lipids and bioactive components. The black soldier fly, which is a dipterous insect from the family of the same name, effectively processes various organic materials, such as manure and waste.
The seminar, organized in cooperation with agricultural organizations and Petrozavodsk State University, discussed the prospects for using these additives in livestock and crop production. Olga Palkina, Acting Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Republic of Karelia, noted that dairy farming enterprises in the region actively support the introduction of new technologies, and the ministry, with the help of scientific experts, will conduct production tests of the proposed products.
