
On Monday, December 20, in Pravdinsk, a workshop for the production of semi-finished products of LLC PKO Domestic Product (Cherkizovo Group) was opened.
The new production site specializes in the production of beef burger patties with a capacity of 14,000 tons of finished products per year. Semi-finished products will be delivered to the Burger King restaurant chain in RUSSIA. The project, in which investments amount to 1.1 billion rubles, ensured the creation of more than 100 new jobs.
The investment project was implemented as part of an agreement between the regional government and Cherkizovo Group, which was signed last summer at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the press service of the regional government noted.

Public Joint Stock Company Cherkizovo Group (PJSC Cherkizovo Group) is the largest producer of MEAT products in Russia. The company is one of the five leaders in the markets of chicken meat, pork and meat products. The group includes 9 full-cycle poultry farms, 16 modern pig farms, 11 meat processing plants, as well as 9 feed mills and 300 thousand hectares of agricultural land. At the end of 2020, the company produced about 1 million tons of meat products.
In the Kaliningrad region, the Cherkizovo Group is represented by the meat processing plant OOO PKO Otechestvenny Produkt. The plant produces more than 12,800 tons of ham (9 types of ham sausage) and 14,000 tons of beef cutlets for burgers. Finished products are supplied to 7 federal districts.
The plant is a resident of the SEZ in the Kaliningrad region, the total investment of the Cherkizovo Group in the region since 2019 amounted to more than 1 billion rubles.
