The volume of exports of agricultural products from the Ivanovo region in the first quarter of this year amounted to almost 9.1 million dollars, which is 1.8 times higher than in 2020.
In the first quarter of last year, products worth $0.2 million were exported from the region, and for the year as a whole - worth $5 million.
The Ivanovo region takes part in the implementation of the federal project "Export of agricultural products", which ensures the achievement of the goals and indicators of the national project "International cooperation and export". The indicator set for the region for this project for 2021 is 4.7 million rubles. Thus, in the first quarter of this year alone, the set target indicator was almost doubled.
Exports from the Ivanovo region to neighboring countries are cheeses, confectionery, baby food. Among the main exporting enterprises are the Ankovskoye enterprise, the Mak-Ivanovo company, the Ivanovo baby food plant. The Combine of Natural Products company is engaged in the production of fruit drinks and exports drinks to Vietnam, Kazakhstan and CHINA , in 2020 the company launched the first production line in RUSSIA for bottled willow tea, which is planned for delivery to Indonesia and neighboring countries. A number of regional producers are negotiating with foreign companies to EXPORT their agricultural products.
