We practically provide ourselves with the main cereals, these are rice, millet, buckwheat. We have a little shortage of food oats, but it is easy to replace it with other grain crops,” Shkolkina noted.

Russia fully provides itself with poultry meat, pork meat, eggs, vegetable oil, there is a small deficit in sugar, but, according to the deputy, "in principle, it is quite easily replenished."

“We provide ourselves with the main types of vegetables and fruits, we practically import or imported those that are not produced in our country due to natural and climatic conditions,” she clarified.

Russia also provides itself in full with compound feed. Shkolkina also drew attention to a number of problems in the field of import substitution.
