The total number of cases of African swine fever in Brandenburg and Saxony has reached 1016.

Seven months after the first outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) in the German wild, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 1016.

So far 108 cases have been confirmed in Saxony and 908 in Brandenburg:

Spree-Neisse: 72 Oder-Spree: 528 Merkisch-Oderland: 237 Dahme-Spreewald: 49 Frankfurt (Oder): 22

The domestic pig population in Germany is currently ASF free.
