In February, Cherkizovo Group reduced sales of chicken and pork

In February, PJSC "Cherkizovo Group" reduced the volume of sales of chicken MEAT by 5% compared to the second month of 2020 - to 53.73 thousand tons

The sale of pigs in live weight at the enterprises of the Cherkizovo group for the reporting period decreased by 81% year on year, to 0.65 thousand tons. At the same time, the volume of pork production in live weight decreased by 20% - to 19.88 thousand tons.

The poultry segment recorded a 9% year-on-year growth in turkey sales in February 2021. A joint venture between Cherkizovo and the Spanish Grupo Fuertes, Tambovskaya Turkey LLC, sold 3.47 thousand tons of poultry meat at an average price of 184.86 rubles per kilogram (+8% compared to the February 2020 price level).

The average selling price of chicken meat at the poultry farms of the Cherkizovo Group in February increased by 26% compared to the same month in 2020, to 26.21 rubles per kilogram.

The pig-breeding complexes of the holding sold meat at 105.07 rubles per kilogram. The average price of pork for the year increased by 36%.

In the meat processing segment, sales of Cherkizovo Group enterprises increased by 6%. In February, they sold 8.81 thousand tons of products at an average price of 200.26 rubles per kilogram (+5% compared to February 2020).
