As Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov noted: “We propose to amend the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers in order to provide for a new form of state support for agricultural producers. This form will consist of subsidizing at the expense of the republican budget of the Chuvash Republic without co-financing from the federal budget. Subsidies will be provided to cover the direct costs of the creation and modernization of egg poultry farms, which are owned by agricultural producers, with the exception of citizens who maintain personal subsidiary plots and Russian organizations.
The budget of the region for 2023 and for the planning period of 2024 and 2025 provides for 64.1 million rubles for these purposes.
Recall that there are 4 large poultry farms in Chuvashia: two for eggs and two for broilers.
In general, in the republic, according to Chuvashstat, in 2022, the production of eggs in agricultural organizations amounted to 235.6 million pieces, or 127.2% by 2021, in the 1st half of 2023 - 136.6 million pieces (96.2% by the 1st half of the year 2022), the egg production of laying hens in 2022 was 323 pieces (127.8% compared to 2021), in the 1st half of 2023 - 195.7 pieces (94.5% compared to the corresponding period in 2022).
93% of egg production is accounted for by two enterprises: 7% - Kanashsky Breeding Poultry Plant LLC, 86% - Morgaushskaya Poultry Farm OJSC. In the latter, in 2023, it is planned to build 3 poultry houses for 100 thousand heads for laying hens. The cost of the investment project will be about 400 million rubles.
