In Chuvashia, it is planned to open a pork production with a capacity of 45 thousand tons per year

On December 2, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chuvash Republic - Minister of Agriculture Sergei Artamonov, together with the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Property Relations of the Chuvash Republic, Nadezhda Stolyarova, held a working meeting with representatives of agricultural companies. 

During the conversation, the creation in the territory of the Chuvash Republic of a vertically integrated, export-oriented player in the pork market with a share of at least 50% was discussed. The total production volume is 45 thousand tons of pork per year. The initiators of the project are three companies that create a synergistic effect with a total annual turnover of more than 5 billion rubles: Star Nafta Group of Companies, SAVA MEAT Processing Plant, LLC Kalachinsky Meat Products.

The construction of commercial farms is expected on the territory of Alatyrsky, Krasnochetaysky and Kozlovsky districts, as well as a feed mill with an elevator in Kanash and a meat processing plant in Novocheboksarsk.

This investment provides for the creation of 1,000 jobs, the transfer to the Chuvash Republic of one of the world's best genetic lines - the DanBred breed (Denmark), the development of exports of meat products produced in the territory of the Chuvash Republic to the countries of Southeast Asia with the achievement of EXPORT volume indicators of more than 80 million .dollars by 2028.
