In Chuvashia, thanks to investment projects in the agro-industrial complex, 120 new jobs were created in 2023

Of the 99 projects, 74 (worth 1.4 billion rubles) were aimed at the construction and reconstruction of agricultural production facilities. As a result, 23 new grain storage facilities were built and 7 existing grain storage facilities were reconstructed, and 2 grain drying complexes were put into operation.

In addition, agricultural producers built 2 potato storage facilities and implemented 3 projects for the development of poultry farming. 6 farms were built for breeding cattle , and 12 sites for fattening and raising young cattle. As a result, more than 2.5 thousand livestock places have been created in Chuvashia.

At food industry enterprises, 25 investment projects worth 1.8 billion rubles have been implemented, which include areas such as processing of potatoes, MEAT, MILK, and 5 projects have been implemented for cheese making.

As a result of enterprise investments and government support, 120 jobs were created in the republic. Subsidizing the agricultural sector in 2023 amounted to a record 4.7 billion rubles, said the Minister of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov.

The largest number of implemented investment projects are in Batyrevsky (15 projects) and Yalchiksky (11 projects) municipal districts. The leaders in terms of investments are Tsivilsky (225 million rubles) and Cheboksary (215.8 million rubles) municipal districts.

For the current year 2024 , it is planned to implement 110 investment projects in the agricultural sector worth almost 3 billion rubles.
