In Buryatia, they have begun leasing purebred bulls to improve livestock farming

The problem of inbreeding leads to a deterioration in livestock productivity, which has a negative impact on the economy of rural farms and the overall state of the industry in the region. Currently, there are 36,385 conventional heads of breeding animals in Buryatia, as well as 5 breeding plants and 21 breeding reproducers. These institutions play an important role in the preservation and development of breeding. Particularly notable is OOO Pobeda, which is actively working to improve the gene pool of livestock in the region.

In 2024 , this farm introduced 12 heads of purebred bulls to the republic, including Aberdeen Angus, Limousine and Charolais. Now the farmer provides the opportunity to rent his bulls to other farms, and contracts have already been concluded with farmers from the Yeravninsky and Kizhinginsky districts.
