Although slightly higher than the same month last year, the volume fell by almost 10% month-on-month. In May, daily exports totaled 10,385 tonnes, nearly 1,700 tonnes less than the more than 12,000 tonnes shipped daily in April. The
average EXPORT value continued to rise, averaging $5,201 per tonne, up $300 per tonne from the March low. This is the highest average since November 2022.

In the first five months of 2025, Brazil exported 1.046 billion tonnes of beef at an average price of US$5,020 per tonne.

The volume increased by 10.4% and the average value by 11.0% compared to the same period last year.

Poultry MEAT exports fell sharply by 18% month-on-month to 441,000 tonnes due to market closures following a case of bird flu detected in Rio Grande do Sul.
