McDonald's and Miratorg held a virtual production tour and showed how steaks are made for the chain's MEAT burgers. The meat for them is supplied only from Miratorg's own enterprise in Bryansk, and the production of steaks from 100% beef is located in Kaliningrad.

The companies have been cooperating for more than 10 years. The agro-industrial holding supplies steaks and nuggets, constantly improving the processes at its production facilities. Today, all steaks for McDonald's from Miratorg are made with the addition of Black Angus marbled beef.

In addition, in December last year, McDonald's made significant changes to the process of making some burgers. For example, the procedure for preparing steaks has changed: 100% beef patties are now grilled in small batches, and onions are added immediately at the grilling stage. Thanks to this, cutlets acquire a brighter taste.

Today, 99% of McDonald's products are supplied by Russian suppliers. Each of the 160 local suppliers is regularly tested to meet the high international standards of production. For example, one Big Mac, according to McDonald's, passes more than 1,000 quality and safety checks.
