Genetic material of breeding cattle was imported to Bashkiria from Europe under the control of specialists from the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Republic of Bashkortostan

The cattle seed material from the best European producers for artificial insemination, purchased by a research and trading enterprise from the Ufa region of Bashkiria, came from an area free from infectious and invasive animal diseases. Donor animals were subjected to laboratory tests for infectious diseases. Seed material was transported in special containers with liquid nitrogen to maintain a constant storage temperature at -196°C.

 The acquisition of foreign breeding material allows livestock enterprises in Bashkiria to use genetic material from world-famous companies that have been tested for the quality of offspring and have high milk and meat productivity, which is consistently inherited. The ability to select the best genetic material allows not only to improve the quality and productivity of the republic’s dairy and beef herds, but also to increase the genetic diversity of animals, which in turn increases the breed’s resistance to various hereditary diseases.

For both batches of regulated products, a veterinary certificate of form No. 1 was issued in the FSIS "Mercury".

In 2023, 25,000 doses of cattle genetic material were purchased from EU countries  and imported to Bashkiria.
