In the Astrakhan region, a veterinary specialist violated traceability when entering product data into the FSIS "Mercury"

The monitoring group of the department, according to the Mercury system, found that a veterinary specialist of the State Budgetary Institution of JSC Astrakhan City Veterinary Station added chilled beef in half carcasses and quarters in the amount of 1.4 tons at the site of the slaughterhouse according to a paper veterinary accompanying document without specifying raw materials, in due to which the traceability of food products is violated.
Further analysis of the data of the FSIS "Mercury" revealed that the beef was sold in the markets of the city of Astrakhan.
Currently, on the facts of established violations, the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR sent materials to the veterinary service of the Astrakhan region for taking appropriate response measures within the competence. In addition, the relevant information was sent to the environmental prosecutor's office of the region for prosecutorial response.
Officials of the Department of Rosselkhoznadzor sent a warning to the economic entity (slaughterhouse) about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements and proposed to ensure compliance with regulatory legal acts relating to and regulating the production and circulation of food products, and be guided by them in their activities.
