In the Astrakhan region, the Rosselkhoznadzor Office monitored the movement of over a thousand tons of controlled cargo in January

Officials of the department, when importing into the region from Kazakhstan, controlled 17 consignments of fish and seafood (152.7 tons), 2 consignments of non-food products (25.5 tons) and 3 consignments of poultry MEAT (60 tons). When exported from the region to Kazakhstan , 114 consignments of fish and seafood (701.6 tons), 12 consignments of finished meat products (34.2 tons) and 1 consignment of live animals (40 heads of slaughter horses) to Kyrgyzstan were inspected and processed.

During transit from Belarus to Kazakhstan, a consignment of dairy products (10 tons) was inspected, from Kazakhstan to Armenia - a consignment of dairy products (13.8 tons), from Georgia to Uzbekistan - 2 consignments of poultry meat (21 tons) and from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan slaughter horses (55 goals).

Based on the results of documentary and physical examinations, the Department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR issued 24 electronic veterinary certificates in the FSIS "Mercury". Due to the lack of veterinary accompanying documents for regulated goods and discrepancies in the labeling of transported products, officials suspended the movement of 2 commercial shipments of poultry meat with a total weight of 42 tons from Kyrgyzstan to RUSSIA.

With regard to the detained products, the Rosselkhoznadzor Office made a decision to ban the movement of goods and return them. An explanatory conversation was held with carriers about the procedure for moving products of animal origin across the EAEU territory .
