
Despite the animals being vaccinated against foot-and-mouth disease, the necessary diagnostic tests for paratuberculosis, trichomoniasis, and campylobacteriosis were not conducted during the quarantine period. These violations of veterinary requirements established for import into the customs territory of the EAEU served as grounds for the export ban.
In accordance with the law, a decision was made to detain and return the animals to the sender. An explanatory discussion was also held with the carrier regarding the rules for the movement of live animals and animal products within the EAEU.
