Sibagro plans to export 13 thousand tons of products in 2023

In 2022, Sibagro produced 388 thousand tons of pork, which is 23 thousand tons more than in 2021. 11.5 thousand tons of products were sent for EXPORT for a total amount of 2.2 billion rubles. The main partner countries of the holding are Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan.

Currently, the company is working on certification of its own enterprises for deliveries to Asian countries - Uzbekistan, the Philippines, CHINA , Thailand, India. Sibagro also resumed shipments to Vietnam.

“In developing exports, we focus on the demand of our customers. To cover all needs, we try to provide a wide range of high quality products. This and the service we provide are the key factors in choosing Sibagro as a reliable and conscientious partner,” Rostislav Grigoriev, DIRECTOR of the wholesale and corporate sales department of the company, told Agroexport.

According to him, in 2022, due to the tense geopolitical situation in the world, most exporting manufacturers faced certain difficulties, which made it difficult to increase exports and its long-term planning. But the restrictive measures taken did not become a verdict, but only prompted to find new opportunities to expand the geography of sales and ways of interacting with customers.

“The consequences of sanctions do not allow customers to comfortably pay for orders. Disconnection from SWIFT, delays in bank transfers, volatility in exchange rates - all this complicates the work, but does not make it impossible, - said Rostislav Grigoriev. – If until 2022 the majority of buying companies in Asian markets preferred to work in dollars, now the situation has changed. Our partners are switching to settlement in national currencies. Today it is a safer and more predictable way to interact. We are also working to find alternative payment options - this is the opening of branches, trading houses in friendly countries.
