In the EXPORT structure, about 77% is occupied by feed and feed additives, more than 20% by by-products, and 1% each went to intestinal raw materials and fertilizers. Fish and seafood, gelatin and dry soups were exported in smaller volumes.

In particular, more than 6 thousand tons of animal products exported from the Kaluga region to Azerbaijan , Georgia, Uzbekistan , Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Moldova consist of feed and feed additives for non-productive animals. In addition, more than 2 thousand tons of feed additives (yeast), intestinal raw materials, as well as biofertilizers were supplied to a number of European countries, and more than 360 tons of non-edible beef by-products were sent to Vietnam and Hong Kong.

Kaluga enterprises also sent more than 2.1 thousand tons of poultry by-products to CHINA . About 14 tons of fish and seafood were supplied to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Mongolia, and 14 tons of dry soups and gelatin were supplied to Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

All cargo sent abroad met the requirements of the recipient countries, which was confirmed by the results of laboratory studies, including those carried out in the Bryansk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH" subordinate to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR.

Export certificates, in accordance with the established procedure, were entered by Department employees into the automated export veterinary certification system of Rosselkhoznadzor “ECert”.

In addition, 14 enterprises of the Kaluga region in 2023 supplied various products of animal origin (feed for unproductive animals, powdered MILK , semi-finished poultry MEAT products, milk and dairy products , fish and semi-finished fish products, feed additives, semi-finished pork products, etc. ) with a total weight of more than 29 thousand tons to all countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. More than 2.3 thousand heads of pigs were also sent to Armenia, and 29 heads of cattle were delivered to Kyrgyzstan for breeding .

More than 168 thousand entomophages were supplied to Belarus for use in protecting fruit crops from pests, as well as as food for ornamental rodents and poultry.
