
The number of heads of cattle is more than 1.8 thousand
As of July 1, 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, the number of specialized beef cattle amounted to more than 1.8 thousand heads, which is 2.3 times more, including 0.7 thousand heads of cows, which is 1.7 more times. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Migal.
“Every year, Crimean agricultural producers receive substantial state support. So, for 7 months of 2022, 54.7 million rubles have already been allocated for the purchase of breeding animals of MEAT breeds. As a result, more than 500 heads of young beef breeds were purchased, 7.4 million rubles were allocated to support the breeding stock of specialized beef cattle, with the exception of breeding animals, ”commented Yuri Migal.
The HEAD of the department also noted that subsidies are being allocated to support the breeding breeding stock of pigs. In 2022, in order to improve production indicators for the formation of the final hybrid with the subsequent sale of the produced meat, a subsidy in the amount of 5.8 million rubles was provided. In addition, in order to complete the new site for the further production of pork meat, the purchase of pedigree young pigs in the amount of 1,000 heads was subsidized in the amount of 24.3 million rubles.
This year, state support is also provided for domestic production of cow and (or) goat MILK in the amount of 170.6 million rubles. In the first half of 2022, a subsidy has already been provided to 18 agricultural producers in the amount of 100.6 million rubles.
In 2022, within the framework of the State Program, 52.6 million rubles were allocated to stimulate the development of priority sub-sectors of the agro-industrial complex and the development of small forms of business in the priority area “processing of raw cattle, goat and sheep milk for food products”. A subsidy in the form of financial support for part of the costs associated with the processing of raw milk of cattle, as well as goat and sheep milk in the current financial year to ensure an increase in the volume of raw milk processed for food products was received by six milk processing enterprises of the Republic of Crimea.
