According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, the volume of investments in the regional agro-industrial complex amounted to 3.3 billion rubles in 2020, which is 737 million rubles or 28.7% higher than in 2019.

According to the agency, the region has a regional state program for the agro-industrial complex, which is aimed at supporting crop production, animal husbandry, small businesses, technical and technological modernization, developing human resources, ensuring veterinary well-being, and sustainable development of rural areas.

- Most of the mechanisms of the state program of agricultural development last year were aimed at increasing production capacity and increasing the investment activity of the industry, - the official response of the regional Ministry of Agriculture says. - Agricultural enterprises are reimbursed from 30 to 55% of their costs at the expense of the regional and federal budgets, due to which an increase in investments is recorded in the region.

As specified in the department, one of the areas of state support was the provision of subsidies to agricultural producers to reimburse part of the direct costs incurred for the creation or modernization of agricultural facilities in such areas as dairy and MEAT animal husbandry, poultry farming, grain processing and storage.

- In 2020, 43 investment projects with a funding volume of 1,189.8 million rubles and 3 projects in the Food Production industry with an investment volume of 1,041 million rubles were presented for subsidizing in the crop and livestock sectors in the region, - says the official response of the profile departments. - The volume of subsidies provided for investment projects in the agro-industrial complex amounted to 661 million rubles, including subsidies from the federal budget in the amount of 107 million rubles.

Recall that last year the region provided itself with raw MILK and dairy products by 83%.
