Uzbekistan to import Tuvan lamb and yak meat

Livestock breeders of the Republic of Tyva will supply lamb and yak MEAT to Uzbekistan.

 

The parties reached a preliminary agreement on trade and economic cooperation at a meeting of the deputy of the Supreme Khural of the republic, Chingis Kaminov, with the support of the HEAD of the regional ministry of agriculture and food, Alexander Dongak, with partners from Uzbekistan. Representatives of veterinary services participated in the negotiations.

An Uzbek businessman who is ready to buy 800 head of small livestock from Tuvans every month highly appreciates the quality of locally produced lamb.

The supplier of yak meat to Uzbekistan will be the state unitary enterprise Mogen-Buren, located in the ecologically clean mountainous Mongun-Taiginsky district of the Republic of Tyva.
