
This season, marinated pork shashlik was especially popular among buyers, accounting for more than 78% of shashlik sales. At the same time, poultry and beef shashlik accounted for 20% and 2%, respectively. Demand for chilled MEAT also increased: pork sales grew by 5%, and poultry by 3%.
Shoppers have been adding items such as sauces, vegetables and drinks to their grilling options. There has also been a significant increase in interest in picnic related products, including charcoal, cookware and barbecue accessories.
