According to information from the Federal State Statistics Service, 57.93 million eggs were produced in 2024 , up 0.2% from 2023. Farms and individual entrepreneurs contributed 11.96 million eggs, accounting for 20.6% of total production, up 4% from last year. The largest share, 44.68 million eggs (77.2%), was produced by private farms, which underlines their importance for the region's food security.

State assistance grants in 2024 were offered to 150 applicants, of which 62 successfully received support, totaling 132.54 million rubles, with a maximum grant amount of 5 million rubles. These financial resources will help farmers not only increase production volumes, but also improve the quality of products, which will have a positive impact on the market.

Given current trends, further growth in egg production in the republic can be expected, which will contribute to the creation of new jobs and an improvement in the overall economic situation. North Ossetian farmers are a shining example of how government support can significantly change the agricultural sector.
