In the last days of March 2022, the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Republic of Bashkortostan inspected and processed 3 batches - 56.4 thousand pieces of hatching turkey eggs, which arrived by road from Slovakia to a large poultry complex specializing in the production and processing of products from turkey MEAT.

For the first quarter of 2022, 19 batches were imported into the republic - 938.65 thousand pieces of turkey and chicken hatching eggs. The main suppliers of poultry products were: CANADA - 466.8 thousand pieces, the Czech Republic - 330.85 thousand pieces, France - 84.6 thousand pieces and Slovakia - 56.4 thousand pieces.

In accordance with the recommendations of the OIE Code, specialists from the Department of Veterinary Supervision at the State Border of the Russian Federation and Transport have disinfected the hatching eggs. Electronic veterinary certificates of the Customs Union form No. 1 were issued for the products in the FGIS "Mercury".

The area where the regulated products came from is free from infectious diseases of animals and birds.
