MEGAMIX Group of Companies has opened a unique “Scientific Center for the Study and Development of Technologies for Managing Rumen Digestion in Farm Animals and the Expertise of MegaMix Feeds” at the Moscow Veterinary Academy named after K.I. Skryabin.
The Ruminant Nutrition Center is a one-of-a-kind research and educational unit.
The Center plans to conduct a wide range of studies based on the unique combination of "artificial rumen + fistula installation". This will allow testing the effectiveness of feed additives that improve rumen digestion, as well as monitoring the degree of protection of additives that ensure the transit of nutrients in the rumen.
Test results are now available within 24 hours instead of the usual 7-14 days. This true fibre digestibility test will enable fast, smart and sensitive solutions to cattle nutrition challenges . The end result is better feed for animals and the benefits for humans.

The company was founded in 1999. During this time, it has grown from a cooperative into the largest holding and became the leader of the feed sector of the agro-industrial complex. 32% of all Russian compound feeds are produced on the basis of the brand's premixes. Production capacity is 360 thousand tons per year of compound feed production, 180 thousand tons per year of premix production. Quality control of raw materials and the final product is performed according to 280+ indicators. The first Russian manufacturer is certified according to the GMP+ module.
