Tyumen Oblast regains its foot-and-mouth disease-free status.

Previously, due to the threat of foot-and-mouth disease, an investment project to build a sheep farm was suspended. The 1.2 billion-ruble project was initiated between the regional government and Damate in 2020. Problems began to arise in 2022, when an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease occurred in Kazakhstan, leading to a decline in sheep supplies from the Tyumen region. Following vaccination, the situation has stabilized, and discussions are underway to resume the farm construction project.
