Pig breeding industry development trends: export, diagnostics, management

Генеральный директор НСС Юрий Ковалев рассказал об основных итогах 2022 года и трендах развития на ближайшие нескольких лет, особенно выделив экспортное направление. 

По итогу 2022 года экспорт всей мясной продукции достиг 630 тысяч тонн, превысив в 2 раза импорт. В 2023 году эта тенденция продолжается: прирост производства составил почти 5%, экспорт сейчас находится на уровне 40% по сравнению с прошлым годом. Восстанавливаются связи с Вьетнамом (рост экспорта составляет +94%), продолжается укрепление взаимодействия с Беларусью (+21%). В связи с этим перед Россией стоит главный стратегический вызов на следующие 10 лет – войти в ТОП-5 мировых экспортеров свинины.

The expert also drew the attention of the audience to the new regulations that will affect the pig industry. First of all, changes will be made to the federal law "On the Circulation of Medicines". From September 1, it will be possible to use in the production of veterinary drugs only those companies that have Russian GMP certification. According to the National Union of Pig Breeders, almost all domestic producers have such a document.

DIRECTOR of the Pig Breeding Division of VIC Group of Companies Alexander Klyandin (speaker in the title photo) spoke about the challenges of 2023 in the domestic veterinary pharmaceutical industry. At the end of 2021, VIC Group entered the TOP-25 international manufacturers of veterinary drugs, which proves the ability of Russian manufacturers to compete with the global giants of veterinary pharmaceuticals. 

Domestic companies are introducing new production sites, registering new drugs, and have made a stock of all the medicines necessary for agricultural producers, which should last at least until the end of 2024. The process of import substitution is in full swing: the most protected segment is antibiotics - 52% of drugs in this category are produced by Russian companies. 

Основными трендами развития отрасли свиноводства являются диагностика и менеджмент. От профилактики и контроля заболеваний (таких, как РРСС) и грамотных своевременных действий персонала свиноводческих предприятий зависит благополучие всей отрасли. При этом важно учитывать драйверы мясного рынка: минимизацию себестоимости продукции, уникальность предложения в части ассортимента и брендирования, а также выход на новые рынки сбыта.

Директор департамента продвижения дивизиона свиноводства ГК ВИК Сергей Павлов акцентировал внимание слушателей на актуальных вопросах свиноводческой отрасли: биобезопасности, разумном применении антибактериальных препаратов и снижении себестоимости. 

To achieve high results in these areas, pork producers need to choose the right partners. Among manufacturers of veterinary drugs, preference should be given to those who, in addition to products, are ready to offer programs individually developed for the enterprise that allow solving targeted and related issues, with a mandatory economic analysis of return on investment.
