Stavropol Territory - 240.0 thousand heads; Karachay-Cherkess Republic - 207.4 thousand heads; Trans-Baikal Territory - 156.1 thousand heads; Volgograd region - 132.5 thousand heads; Kabardino-Balkarian Republic - 110.3 thousand heads; Rostov region - 91.7 thousand heads; Republic of Altai - 90.0 thousand heads.
At the same time, in July, the highest growth rates in the number of sheep and goats were registered in the Kamchatka Territory - 214% by July 2020 (0.2 thousand heads). The second position was taken by the Kirov region - 93% (4.8 thousand heads). The top three in terms of the largest increase in the number of sheep and goats was closed by the Republic of Khakassia - 88% by 2020 (36.0 thousand heads).
