Peasant farms, rural individual entrepreneurs and owners of personal farmsteads in the Tomsk region can compensate for part of the cost of purchasing equipment and machinery, including electric shepherds, under the regional program to support small businesses, the press service of the Agrarian Center of the Tomsk region reported.
“Uncontrolled grazing is one of the most pressing problems in rural areas,” said Alexander Savenko, Deputy HEAD of the Department for Social and Economic Development of the Village of the Tomsk Region. - In the private sector, the services of a hired shepherd are becoming more expensive, and in some settlements they are not available at all. And in such cases, other methods of keeping animals come to the rescue, in particular, electric shepherds.”
A subsidy for technical and technological modernization is provided from the regional budget and amounts to 40% of the cost of equipment, but not more than 150 thousand rubles per year. One of the conditions for obtaining state support is the presence of at least three cows or at least ten conditional heads of farm animals.
An applicant can apply to the local government to receive a subsidy. The conditions for the provision are specified in the resolution of the Administration of the Tomsk Region dated December 29, 2017 No. 482a.
