Embryo transplantation technology will become the basis of breeding livestock breeding for Buryatia, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. When the technology takes root in the region and allows creating its own base of breeding stock, Buryatia will begin to develop the EXPORT of breeding stock to Mongolia.

Transplantation operations were carried out at two enterprises, Rubin LLC in the Kabansky district and Blagodatnoye LLC in the Bichursky district, the department explained. The first calf appeared at the Rubin enterprise, according to the department, in six days he has already shown weight gain and other characteristics that overtake his peers.

With the help of this technology, Buryatia can create its own breeding core of dairy and beef cattle breeding, the department believes, and when it is sufficiently developed, start deliveries of breeding cattle for export, in particular, to Mongolia, whose livestock breeders are interested in importing breeding cattle from Buryatia . In order to develop livestock breeding faster, the government offers state support to farmers - for example, subsidies that allow you to return 95% of the cost of embryos.
