Tatarstan expands recognition of Halal certificates to 17 countries

This will enable Tatarstan's certified halal product producers to EXPORT to Malaysia. According to Taliya Minullina, HEAD of the Republic's Investment Development Agency, there are currently over 100 producers in Tatarstan producing halal products, one in five of which are export-oriented. In 2024 , the volume of halal product exports from Tatarstan reached 14 million, an increase of 2.5 million compared to the previous period. These products include MEAT, dairy , and confectionery products exported to Islamic countries.
