Sakhalin pig farmers will contribute to food security with smoked meat

The resident of the Yuzhnaya ASEZ is launching the production of a new group of products - smoked meat delicacies. Merci Agro Sakhalin is launching a new workshop, and very soon cartilage, shank, meat nuts and brisket will appear on the shelves of island stores.

Today, the enterprise accounts for more than 70% of meat supplies in the Sakhalin Region. But the livestock complex is not going to stop there. Mercy Agro Sakhalin works closely with the region's Ministry of Agriculture and Trade. Support from the authorities helps the company expand its product line and increase production capacity. Until the end of 2022, Mercy Agro will produce a ton of smoked meats monthly.
