The Sibagro pig complex in Buryatia provides 70% of the region's needs for pork. We tell how the company feels in the difficult time of the pandemic, about expansion plans and EXPORT tasks.
The pandemic practically did not affect the work of the pig farm. In the spring of 2020, some changes in the mechanism of work were required, but then everything returned to normal. Production continued to operate, the number of employees did not decrease, and the volume of production and sales even increased.
Five years ago, the pig farm became the first Russian producer to supply its products to Mongolia. The first batch was 17 tons. Today, the enterprise supplies 1.5 thousand tons of MEAT to Mongolia. The plans include deliveries to the countries of Southeast Asia.
"We have passed inspection of our enterprise, slaughterhouse for the supply of pork and slaughter products to Vietnam, CHINA , Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong."
Another of the changes in the life of the complex is the entry into the Buryatia ASEZ. “The advanced development area opens up new opportunities. The main goal is expansion,” says Yulia Shishkina, DIRECTOR of the Sibagro pig farm in Buryatia.
Now "Sibagro" is building the second stage of the pig farm, the launch will increase the capacity of the enterprise by one and a half times.
