The court ordered the Karelian authorities to bring animal burial grounds into compliance with veterinary requirements.

The Karelian Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office filed the lawsuit after conducting on-site inspections that revealed violations of veterinary and sanitary requirements. The inspection results revealed that two anthrax and three biothermal cattle burial sites required repairs to the fences, which were either damaged or completely missing. The prosecutor's office was informed of these findings, and the COURT partially upheld the lawsuit, requiring the authorities to bring the burial sites into compliance with established standards.
