Stavropol region will start supplying poultry meat to Africa and the Middle East

The Stavropol Territory will start supplying poultry MEAT to Africa and the countries of the Middle East. Now the region exports these products to 30 countries, including CHINA , Saudi Arabia, Congo, the Philippine Islands, Maldives, Serbia and Vietnam.

As previously reported, the Stavropol Territory has been in the top three meat exporters among Russian regions for the second year in a row: more than 55,000 tons of products are exported from it. In the general structure of exports of the agro-industrial complex of the region, poultry meat supplies occupy a leading position among other products and account for 44% of total sales to other countries.

Last year, chicken meat was exported from the Stavropol Territory in the amount of 125 million US dollars . Grain and fat-and-oil products of local production are also considered to be in demand abroad.

Recall that the largest factories of the Stavropol region for the production of poultry meat are located in its two capitals: Stavropol (regional center) and Nevinnomyssk (industrial center).
