Stavropol is the leader in meat production in the North Caucasus Federal District

Agrarians of the region produced more than half of the MEAT products of the total volume throughout the district.
According to the results of January-November 2021, the Stavropol Territory produced more livestock products than in other regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. This is evidenced by the data of the North Caucasus State Statistics Service.
During this period, all the farms of the North Caucasus produced more than 800 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat in live weight, of which 440.5 thousand tons were produced in the Stavropol Territory.
More than 1.3 billion eggs were also produced, including 710 million eggs in the Stavropol Territory.
In terms of MILK production, the Stavropol Territory is in the top three in the North Caucasus Federal District. The result of the region's production is 417 thousand tons.
