US expects reduction in beef and poultry exports

Pork exports are projected to increase nearly 4.6 percent from 2023 due to rising domestic production and reduced global competition from the European Union. Broiler exports in 2024 are expected to decline by about 1.4 percent from last year due to higher domestic prices and weak demand from CHINA .

Expected in 2024turkey will be competitively priced , and exports are projected to grow 6.4 percent over 2023. Compared to 2023, dairy exports in terms of skimmed MILK powder should increase slightly this year by about 0.2 percent. Relatively high domestic demand for dairy products and limited growth in milk production are likely to limit EXPORT growth.
