US Hog Market Outlook 51 Weeks Ending December 22, 2025

According to the USDA, the price of hog carcasses rose by $2.22 on Friday morning to $99.76 per hundredweight. Only tenderloin prices declined. The USDA estimated the number of federally inspected hogs slaughtered this week at 2.683 million. This is 39,000 fewer than last week, but 97,673 more than the same week last year.
