USA: Week 10 Pig Market Review 2022

According to the USDA , U.S. weekly pork export sales were 22,100 tons in 2023, down 29% from the previous week and 44% down from the previous four-week average. Traders said they would see if sales improve next week.

Pork production is downgraded as higher-than-expected first-quarter slaughter rates are more than offset by lower carcass weights.
