US Cattle Market Review for Week 23, June 9, 2025

Beef prices were mixed again on Friday afternoon, narrowing the Chc/Sel spread to $8.35. Choice beef prices fell $1.77 to $365.08, while Select prices were 12 cents higher at $356.73 per hundredweight. USDA federally inspected cattle slaughter for the reporting week totaled 582,000 HEAD, down 27,797 head from the same week last year.
