
Average broiler prices in the US market as of March 5, 2021 showed an upward trend. The average cost of broilers in February 2021 was 82.97 cents/lb (+0.8% mom), with total sales of around 38,765 thousand pounds (+1.4% mom).
At the same time, prices for poultry of all categories fell in regional markets, and an increase in the price tag was noted only for birds weighing 3.51 pounds or more (+1.23 cents).

Retail sales jumped a seasonally adjusted 5.3% in January from a month earlier, while industrial output approached pre-pandemic levels.
