US: Broiler Market Outlook Week 28, July 15, 2024

Average prices for chicken cuts showed a positive adjustment against the backdrop of rising prices for all items except drumsticks.

According to the latest Rabobank report, the outlook for global poultry markets continues to improve, with poultry consumption growth accelerating (1.5% to 2%) and supply growth steady in many markets. After four years of extremely disruptive conditions, global poultry markets are moving towards more “normal” market conditions. Global trade is expected to be more competitive than in the last two years, thanks to changes in trade flows.

The US poultry sector has performed well this year , with relatively strong demand, controlled production growth and rising prices.
