Average broiler prices in the US market as of May 28, 2021 showed an upward trend. The average cost of broilers in May 2021 was 105.41 cents/lb (+3.9% mom), with total sales of around 42,676 thousand pounds (+3% mom).
In regional markets, prices for poultry in all categories rose, with the highest increase in prices for birds weighing 3.51 pounds or more (+3.45 cents).
