USA: Broiler market overview for 18-19 weeks 2023

Average prices for chicken cutting showed a slight negative trend against the backdrop of falling prices for almost all types of cutting. except for the breast and thighs.

The US Department of Agriculture increased the forecast for the growth of world MEAT production in 2023 by 1 million tons. In total, according to the results of the year, 277 million tons of meat will be produced in the world. The United States remains the leader in the production of poultry meat. The country is also the main global supplier of meat chicken cross genetic material. According to the forecast of the US Department of Agriculture, this year American producers will increase the production of poultry meat by 0.3 million tons - to a record 21.3 million tons.
