Average prices for chicken cuttings showed a negative trend for almost all types of products, except for MMO minced MEAT and fillets.
According to a recent USDA forecast report , in 2023, global production will increase by 1% to 103.4 million tons, mainly due to growth in Brazil and the United States, as well as in Thailand, Mexico and Turkey .
While feed prices remain high, the expected decline in corn and soybean prices in 2023 will support production in most countries. Production in Brazil is forecast to rise 3% to a record 14.9 million tonnes, driven by strong external demand coupled with lower production costs.
Production growth in Thailand and Mexico is supported by strong domestic demand, while Turkey continues to benefit from strong regional demand. Production in CHINA is forecast flat at 14.3 million tonnes as growth in white-feather broiler production offsets a comparable decline in yellow-feather broiler production.
